    You’ll need 2 clean paper towels, a plate, and some distilled or purified water.

  • Moisten the towels
    Lightly dampen the towels so they’re moist but not dripping wet.

  • Place the seeds
    Lay your seeds evenly between the two towels.

  • Cover & store
    Put the towels on a plate, cover them with another plate to block out light, and store in a warm, dark spot (around 21–26°C).

  • Check daily
    Seeds usually crack and sprout within 2–7 days. Keep the towels damp (never dry, never soaked).
